If you are reading this I'm asking you to please stop and pray for some friends of mine, Jenn and Joe. Jenn is a good friend of mine from high school and Joe also went to high school with us. They recently got engaged. He is in the navy and stationed in Corpus Christi. He was on a training flight on Wednesday afternoon and his plane went down somewhere along the coast. The rescue team is searching for them fervently. And Jenn and Joe's family are believing and trusting that the Lord is protecting Joe and the other pilot. Please pray them and for Joe's safety during this time. Only the Lord can turn something like this around, so thank you for your prayers!
You can read more about it the story here.

Smiles
Here are a few pictures of recent that haven't made it in other posts, but make me smile:
The boys are wanting to be in the rocking chair together now, it's really sweet.
This is all three of my cowboys shooting at me from behind their fort. Jared's in there too, he started the whole thing.Monday, October 26, 2009
Pumpkin Patch
Last week after Will's soccer game we went to the Pumpkin Patch. They enjoyed picking out some pumpkins, we now have a great collection on our front porch. In all their excitement and running around it's hard to get them to look at the camera, but I think we got a few good ones.
Soccer
Will has entered into the world of organized sports, he started playing soccer this fall. He loves getting in his uniform and cleats and he looks like such a big kid. The name of his team is "The Snakes", which just topped off the whole experience for Will. He is having a blast!

What to do with Leftover Icing?
We had a bunch icing leftover from the boys birthday cakes. I hate to waste anything, so I kept thinking I'm sure I can think of something to do with this icing. Other than just eat it off a spoon like I wanted to do, please tell me I am not the only one tempted to do that???
So, in a total lapse of judgement I decided to give the boys the icing and pastry brushes and let them have at it, well except for the strict parameters about not coming inside. I hung up some paper on the fence, for them to paint on, but I really think more icing ended up on each other and in their mouths than on the paper. Here is what in sued (please forgive the diaper and underwear, I wasn't about to let them get it on their clothes).

They got to top it off by running through the sprinklers to get clean. Icing painting turned out to be a sucess, the boys thought it was great and Mommy was happy because the mess was minimal.
San Antonio Vacation
In the middle of September we took the boys to San Antonio. We all had a great time. Check out our slideshow below for the pictures...
