Davis Family Christmas
We celebrated Christmas with the Davis side of our family a few days after Christmas, but all the Christmas excitement was in full effect. The boys loved playing at Nana and PawPaw's and getting more "presidents" as Will calls them.

New Blogging Friends
I've been wanting my friend Angela to start a blog for a long time. So, I'm so happy that the McClinton's have started a blog. Check them out...
Cookie Party
We had some friends over to decorate cookies the other day. The boys really enjoyed it. There wasn't as much decorating done as there was eating, but either way they had fun.
We snapped a picture together before the chaos began.

Oops!
Luke has learned how to open the pantry and get into food that he wants. He got into a bag of puffed rice cereal and dumped the whole thing on the ground. When I caught him he just looked up at me like "Oops, I don't know how that happened, but while it's here I might as well eat it."

Goofing Off
There's been a lot of goofing off going on in the Davis house lately. Here are a few pictures:

Luke is 15 months old
Luke is growing into such a big boy these days. At his 15 month check up he was 24 lbs and 2 oz and 32 inches long. We are feeling like his baby days are behind us. But, the positive is that he and Will are on the same schedule now and are playing together like best little buddies. It's really fun for us.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We hosted Thanksgiving this year for our families. I was very nervous about pulling the whole thing off, for starters I've never made a turkey before and our family isn't small. Also, I have high standards to be judged by; my mom is queen of family events, I think she could cook for 40 people with her eyes closed. Besides one minor turkey scare the night before, and getting a bad cold everything went very well. It was a special time to spend with all of our family. Afterwards I told Jared that I feel so accomplished, I think it's a right of passage for a woman to sucessfuly host a major holiday event.
Here we are on Turkey Day.

Bye Bye Baby Curls...
Well, Luke finally got his first haircut. After hearing many comments about him looking like a girl, mostly from Jared, I decided that it was finally time to part with the baby curls. He really looks like a little boy now.
Shaggy?

Will's Expeditions
Every evening in the month of October we went on an expedition. After bath time Will would get dressed in his PJ's grab a hat of some kind, his binoculars and sometimes his camera or a "treasure map" (which is whatever piece of paper he had been carrying around that day and we would head out on an expedition...
What an explorer!

Here is what we were exploring - the blow up pumpkin in the yard across the street.
The pumpkin first made its appearance in the beginning of October. As soon as Will saw it he said: "Okay, I go inside and put my costume on and we go trick or treating." We kept trying to explain to him that it wasn't trick or treating time yet and he kept arguing with us and telling us he needed to get his costume. Very exasperated he looked at Jared and I said: "We need to get Nana!" He knew that if we wouldn't listen and do what he wanted Nana would. Good logic Will!

Fire Truck Party
We went to our friend Drew's fire-truck birthday party. It was so much fun. The boys got to climb all in the firetruck, shoot the hose and even take a ride. Will hasn't stopped talking about it.

Trick or Treat
The boys were fighter pilots for Halloween. Will was "Maverick" and Luke was "Ice Man", which fits both of thier personalities. They were so cute!
(The pictures are kind of out of order, sorry.)
