Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted Thanksgiving this year for our families. I was very nervous about pulling the whole thing off, for starters I've never made a turkey before and our family isn't small. Also, I have high standards to be judged by; my mom is queen of family events, I think she could cook for 40 people with her eyes closed. Besides one minor turkey scare the night before, and getting a bad cold everything went very well. It was a special time to spend with all of our family. Afterwards I told Jared that I feel so accomplished, I think it's a right of passage for a woman to sucessfuly host a major holiday event.
Here we are on Turkey Day.

My granddad got a couple adorable pictures of Luke, isn't this one just precious!

Yes ma'am, you are right. It IS a right of passage to host a major family event. And to make a turkey. :)
